Sorbent Sweeps are designed to float on the surface of the water and absorb the oil sheen from of the surface of the water. Sorbent Sweeps are typically connected to sorbent booms and work together with sorbent booms to ensure that as much oil is removed as possible from the surface of the water during an oil spill.
